Nearly 18 lakh cases stuck in Karnataka courts

Unlike wine, court cases don’t age well. The more they grind on, the more despair they bring for people hoping for a fair or reasonable outcome. Courts in Karnataka have more than their share of such cases. As of February 27, 2020, the backlog stood at nearly 18 lakh.
