A full-fledged turmeric board, a long-pending demand of turmeric growers of Nizamabad and a promise which BJP had made in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, won’t happen. Instead, Nizamabad will get a regional extension centre of Spices Board now. Telangana is the largest producer of turmeric in the country.
