Two climbers from Bengal — Kuntal Karar and Biplab Baidya — went missing on May 14 while trying to scale Mount Kanchenjunga. Their fate remains uncertain as the primary rescue operation conducted by Giripremi — the agency that had organized the expedition — has drawn a blank.
