Poor response to HDMC door-to-door tax collection

Hubballi Dharwad Municipal Corporation, which is struggling to make both ends meet, has been able to collect only 70 per cent of the targeted property tax for the 2018-19 fiscal. While the target set for the year is Rs 64 crore, HDMC sources say they have collected Rs 45 crore so far.
