Metro rail or elevated bus rapid transit system (BRTS) will be added to the existing Metro network to provide connectivity to the IT corridor. A pre-feasibility study on mass rapid transit system (MRTS) for connecting Hi-Tec City to the Financial District has found the project ‘feasible’, but added that mono rail, for which the study was commissioned, is not viable for the 17-km corridor.
