To ensure safety of the proposed Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train, the National High Speed Rail Corporation Ltd (NHSRCL) will install 28 seismometers along the route and in the earthquake-prone Koyna, Latur and Kutch regions so that the train can be brought to an immediate halt in case of any tremor.
